Library Mission Statement
The mission of Lamar Consolidated ISD Libraries is to create a physical and digital environment in which our students, staff, and community can strengthen their natural inquisitive nature, foster a love of reading, and serve as a collaborative resource for teachers and staff in developing and delivering powerful learning experiences across all curricular areas.

The library is open Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.. Students visit the library every week for story time and a library lesson.
Our Pre-Kindergartners will be permitted to checkout one book per week beginning in January.
One of the most important ways to encourage a love of reading in your child is to read aloud together. We encourage you to set aside some time each day to read with your child.
