Principal Mary Ellen Rainer leads the Suns at Seguin Early Childhood Center. With 32 years in public education, all within Lamar CISD, she has served in a variety of roles, including assistant principal at Pink Elementary, classroom teacher at Ray and Beasley Elementary, campus secretary at Smith Elementary, attendance clerk at Lamar Junior High, and positions in the Partners in Education Department and at Terry High School. A graduate of Houston Baptist University and the University of Houston–Victoria, she is committed to ensuring every Seguin Sun receives a strong educational foundation in a nurturing and engaging environment.
