Enrollment Information
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for Pre-Kindergarten, your child must:

Be 4 years old on or before September 1, and meet at least one of the following criteria:

Be unable to speak or understand English

Qualify for free or reduced-price meals

Be homeless
-
Be currently in, or have previously been in, the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS)

Be the child of an active-duty member of the U.S. Armed Forces
-
Be the child of a U.S. Armed Forces member who was injured or killed while on active duty

Be the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award, including:
- A peace officer (Section 3106.002, Government Code)
- A firefighter (Section 3106.003, Government Code)
- An emergency medical first responder (Section 3106.004, Government Code)
REGISTRATION
Parents/Guardians may register online at home or are welcome to come to Seguin to utilize the computers here.
Please bring the following documents for registration:
- Certified Birth Certificate
- Original Social Security card for the child
- P
- roof of address such as a utility bill, or lease agreement
- Record of shots
Enrollment
Seguin Early Childhood Center (ECC) offers a full-day Pre-Kindergarten program.
Seguin ECC accepts students who are zoned to the following elementary schools:
- Austin
- Bowie
- Jackson
- Long
- Pink
- Seguin
- Ray
- Smith
- Travis
